In Messenger, click Messenger on the Tool Bar, scroll to Preferences and click there.
Now scroll to Appearance, in the second category, Change Fonts %26amp; Colors. Look carefully at what you're doing here, one is for your default color for your message windows and one is for use only when someone else, uses theirs first.
After you decide, select your color, go to the bottom of the page and click Apply, then OK. Immediately restart your computer and when it reopens, you will have made your changes.
