How do you change the font color on your desktop?

on my desktop i don't know how to change the colors of the icons ... it really is bugging me so if you could help?

i have a windows xp...How do you change the font color on your desktop?
in display properties appearance advanced item ..How do you change the font color on your desktop?
right click on the desktop and click properties%26gt; appearence fiddle around with the drop downs and advance you will find!!
right-click your desktop, go to properties, then appearance, advanced, click on the scroll down bar, icon, then click on the bottom scroll down box to changed the font, then to the right you can choose the size and color

If you want to do what I think you do try one or two things.

First click start. Then control panel. Once in here click Appearance and Themes. Click on Theme. Now you can change themes which will change your colors too.



If this is not what you want Then to the right you should see a tab. at top, that says Appearance. Click this then on that screen click advanced. This changes lots of things, menu color, font size, icon spacing and many other things.
Do you mean icons or menus? you can change the appearance of the desktop by right-clicking anywhere on the desktop ans selecting Properties %26gt; Display Properties.
