Can you change the default font on your computer.?

i recently downloaded a font from the internet and would really like it as my default but im really not brill with computer settings so if anyone knows how to change it please please answer. could you explain it in detail too please because i am really dopey n need everything spelling out to me!!

(for vista) Go into control panel and click appearence + personalisation, then on customise colours. Click on the link at the bottom saying classic appearence properties then go to advanced, and you can change the fonts for all sorts of different things.



If you've only downloaded the font, you need to install it before you can use it. Go to C\windows\fonts, click file%26gt;install fonts In the Add Fonts dialog box, under Drives, click the drive where the font that you want to install is located. Under Folders, double-click the folder containing the fonts that you want to add. Under List of fonts, click the font that you want to add, and then click Install. If you can't find the fonts folder, go into windows help and type fonts. It's explained in there.

paste it in C:\WINDOWS\Fonts



and go to desktop and make right click



properties--%26gt;appearance-%26gt; advanced -%26gt;item-%26gt;
